equal pay for the genders. can unequal pay be justified

Dr Enderby was a speech therapist. she got 40% less than sernior pharmacists and clinical psychologists

it was held that there were different professions. the pay structure was not discriminatory

The ECJ said the worker has the burden of proof and must demonstrate that there has been nfair pay on an unjusitiftable basis

if there is uneuqal pay between jobs of equal valye then the burden of proof is reversed and the emplouer must demonstrate some logic for this

the disparity needs to be explicbale

speech theraposys are almost all women but pharmasicts are almost all men
