 Mr Feryn has a firm

he said he would not employ Moroccans becuase customers would dislike it. He said he was obliged to meet the wishes of his customers.

Racial Equality directive was cited against him.

 The Centre for Equality of opportunity and against racialism took action

It was contended that statements did not constitute discrimination but hinted at thhe possibiluty of it.

What the man said could dissuade people of certain ethnicities from applying for jobs. It is not needful to demonstrated that it did in fact discourage anyone from applying for a job. The mere possibility is enough to establish that there was discrimination

This was discrimination. one must have an inclsuive job market
