Sirdar v the Army Board

this is labour law. reuirements of a job

mrs sirdar was a cook. she was made redunant. could not get job a s acook in the marines

the marines insisted in inter operability as in the cook neeed to fight in extemis. the mairnes banned women from fighting

the ECJ said the ban was allowed. states are allowed some discretion in the exceptions they make to se discriminaiton when it comes to public policy and secueity
